Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its summer concert series with Akron-based Moustache Yourself on Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Medina’s Uptown Park.

Gypsy jazz, also known as gypsy swing, hot club jazz, or by the French name, “Jazz Manouche,” is a style of jazz music made famous by guitarist Django Reinhardt in the 1930s. Its infectious rhythm and entrancing melodies will capture your soul and transport you to a different time and place.

Back by popular demand, the group includes an all-star lineup of musicians that maintain active and diverse performance careers with many prestigious acts such as Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Ernie Krivda’s Big Band, Wesley Bright, The Admirables and many more. Musicians are Brad Wagner (clarinet), Brent Hamker (electric guitar), Jeremy Jones (acoustic guitar), and Matthew DeRubertis (double bass).

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at The United Church of Christ, 217 East Liberty Street, Medina OH 44256.
