Jazz under the Stars: Patrick Lynch and the Eric Everett Trio

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its popular summer Jazz under the Stars concert series at Uptown Park in Medina with Patrick Lynch and the Eric Everett Trio on August 22, 2026 at 7:00 pm.

Patrick and the band will perform timeless classics from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and more! Swing to Rat Pack and big band classics, as well as pop music spanning the ’60s-70’s!

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy this free concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 317 E. Liberty Street, Medina, OH 44256. For more information, call 419-853-6016.

About the Musicians

Patrick Lynch is a dynamic and versatile vocalist. His passion for performing and entertaining an audience is unparalleled, as he will keep you engaged until he sings his last note. He has been performing at many of Northeast Ohio’s fabulous music venues for years. Audiences have seen him play at Brother’s Lounge, The Alex Theater, Vosh, and most recently, The Music Box. Patrick has been crooning about town for the past few years with a rich history of performing many other musical genres, having been a part of several local bands including The Crooked River Band and one of Cleveland’s favorite party bands, Billy Likes Soda. His voice and humor create a wonderful atmosphere for the audience. Each night Patrick performs the likes of his musical idols, it’s if Frank, Dean, Bublé, and many others, have gathered for one great show.

Chuck Smolko, guitar, is a professional musician and teacher in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, he teaches guitar, bass, ukulele and piano to students of all ages and experience. Chuck also performs in a variety of bands, including jazz, classical, rock, Motown and folk music. He also performs solo guitar and piano and enjoys collaborating with other musicians and artists. A seasoned performer, Chuck studied jazz at Cleveland State University where he was a student of Bob Frazier, Gary April, Howie Smith and the late Dick Lurie. At CSU, he played guitar in the Big Band and sang in the Chorus. Chuck is a jazz aficionado and is quoted in Jazz Styles (11th Edition) by Mark Gridley, with whom he has performed at various venues across northeast Ohio over the past twenty years. Chuck has extended his talent for improv to the theater as the musical player for improv troupes at Dobama Theatre, Second City – Cleveland and Cabaret Dada.

Michael Bondra, keyboard. Michael started performing at an early age and did several shows with the original Mouseketeers as the talent roundup winner from Cleveland. He has organized and played with several bands over the years and created “The Jazz Guys” 12 years ago. Having performed coast to coast, Michael enjoys playing all styles of music and performing songs that are timeless and enjoyable for all.

Charlene Smythe, vocals. Charlene has performed jazz, folk & pop vocals for over a decade in Cleveland with Eric Everett Jazz, Smythe Kindler, Jindra, and Erin Neal Concentric Soul. Prior to that she lived in San Francisco and was a touring backup vocalist in the Jerry Garcia band with organist Melvin Seals. She also participated at Motown recording studios. Charlene has performed at Nighttown, Akron Summer Concert Series, Painesville Party in the Park and many other venues in and around the Greater Cleveland area.

Eric Everett, drums,has four decades of drumming experience, studying privately at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory and performing in Case Western Reserve University’s small group Jazz and Big Band ensembles. Eric leads the “Firelands Trio” and “Elation” R&B band, and performs as a sideman with the Cliff Habian Trio and George Foley Quartet. Eric has performed at Nighttown, Bop Stop, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and more. Eric Everett Jazz Productions is a member of Cleveland Music Group.
