Jazz under the Stars: NEO Jazz Orchestra

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its summer concert series with the Northeast Ohio Jazz Orchestra on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Led by drummer Frank Margida and highlighted by tenor saxophone player, Jimmy Witherspoon and vocalists Peggy Coyle and Larry Davis, the band plays a mix of classic jazz and modern pieces.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy this free concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 317 East Liberty Street, Medina, OH 44256. For more information, call 419-853-6016.

About NEO Jazz Orchestra

The NEO Jazz Orchestra has been around for a few decades. It originated as The Chapel Big Band and is currently composed of retired professionals, attorneys, engineers and an airline pilot, as well as numerous full time high school band directors and professional musicians.  Led by drummer Frank Margida and highlighted by tenor saxophone player, Jimmy Witherspoon and vocalists Peggy Coyle and Larry Davis, the band plays a mix of classic jazz and modern pieces.
