Jazz under the Stars: Grant Heineman- An Evening of Jazz Fusion Arrangements and Compositions

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its summer Jazz under the Stars concert series with Cleveland-based musician Grant Heineman in an evening of energetic and melodic jazz fusion arrangements and compositions inspired by Chick Corea, Michael Mayo, Robert Glasper, Horace Silver, Roy Hargrove and more on August 3, 2024, at 7 pm. The band (TBA) will feature some of Northeast Ohio’s finest young jazz musicians. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 317 E. About Grant Heineman 

Grant Heineman is a multifaceted emerging musician and recent graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts with a double major in Contemporary Writing & Production and Performance. An accomplished jazz pianist and vocalist, the Cleveland native melds a choral and classical piano upbringing with a deep understanding of contemporary jazz harmony and rhythms to assert himself as a 21st century musician capable of excelling in any given situation.

In 2020 he won a Downbeat Magazine student music award for his vocal jazz arrangement of “I Can’t Help It” by Stevie Wonder. He aims to inject his buoyant personality and tasteful sensibilities into every project he undertakes and looks forward to a lifetime of creating harmony with friends.
