Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library close out the 2023 concert series with Akron-based pianist Duane Carlson on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2 pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Duane will entertain you with holiday favorites.

About the Musician

Duane Carlson is an accomplished pianist born in Akron, Ohio. He attended Wesleyan University where he played lead trumpet in the University orchestra. He later graduated from the U.S. Navy School of Music in Virginia, after which he spent a year touring Europe playing the trumpet in one of the U.S. Navy dance bands. After the Navy, Duane played piano with a local gospel group for nine years. He currently plays easy-listening music at upscale restaurants, country clubs, and retirement communities. He has recorded two albums of his favorite standards and Christmas tunes.
