Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library continue Live at the Library showcasing saxophonist Brad Wagner on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at 2 pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
Brad Wagner is a favorite jazz saxophonist in Northeast Ohio. He’ll be joined by vocalist, Barbara Rosene and pianist, Rock Wehrman, performing songs for those who are, and those who want to be in love. Be sure to wear your heart on your sleeve!

About the Musicians
An active musician throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond, Brad Wagner has appeared with many of the region’s premier jazz ensembles and creative music projects. His performance credits include the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Ernie Krivda’s Fat Tuesday Big Band, Bobby Selvaggio’s Hendectet Jazz Collective, Dan Bruce’s Beta Collective, Sam Blakeslee’s Large Group, The Cleveland Orchestra, The Cleveland Pops Orchestra, productions at Playhouse Square, and numerous other professional ensembles. Known for his expressive playing and stylistic versatility, Brad is equally at home performing classic big band repertoire, contemporary jazz, original music, and experimental works. Brad is a founding member of Pulse, a modern jazz quartet with Aidan Plank, Anthony Fuoco, and Dustin May. The group’s self-titled debut album, Pulse, was released in 2025. A versatile woodwind performer, Brad plays soprano, alto, tenor, and bari saxophones, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, alto flute, piccolo, and the Roland AE-10 Aerophone. He also leads several ensembles, including a big band devoted to original music and innovative arrangements, and collaborates regularly with acclaimed vocalist Vanessa Rubin, also in a big band setting. Brad earned his B.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). His work continues to reflect a deep respect for the jazz tradition while embracing creativity, collaboration, and artistic exploration. Ohio born and New York based, Barbara Rosene has built an unequalled reputation for interpreting classic compositions from all eras of Jazz, performing the music with not only a full understanding and love of the original time period but with the rare ability to make the material sound fresh and emotionally relevant today. Barbara has toured with The Harry James Orchestra for the past 15 years, and has performed with The Glenn Miller and Artie Shaw Orchestras, as well as directing her own New Yorkers, playing such venues as: Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall, Birdland, The Iridium, Dizzy’s, Mezzrow, Smalls, Blues Alley, and The Montreal Jazz Festival. Featured on NPR programs “Jazz Inspired”, with Judy Carmichael, and “Hot Jazz Saturday Night.” with Rob Bamberger, she is the recipient of a Backstage -Bistro Award, and is included in Scott Yanow’s book, “Great Jazz Singers.” Barbara’s studio albums include “Deep Night”, with Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks, “On The Brink”, with Wyclife Gordon, Howard Alden and Randy Sandke, and a Grammy nominated collection of -1920s/30s tunes – “Nice and Naughty” with her own New Yorkers.
Rock Wehrmann, jazz pianist, is in-demand across the Midwest as a performer, producer, musical director and accompanist. A first-call musician for Playhouse Square, the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and the Cleveland Pops, Rock has established himself as both a well-respected and talented performer and educator. He serves on the jazz studies faculty at the University of Akron and Cleveland State University, and has previously served as Advertising Manager and Marketing Manager for Moog Music Inc., and Advertising Manager at Audio-Technica U.S., Inc.
