Brought to you by popular demand, Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) is off on another cultural bus trip you won’t want to miss! Join us for three fun-filled days as we head to Asheville, North Carolina, to enjoy the Biltmore Estate. Here’s the itinerary:

 

Day 1-Wednesday, April 2, 2025

Hop on the bus at Buehler’s River Styx in Medina, Ohio, at 7:00 AM. Start the morning with muffins and mimosas. Then sit back and enjoy the scenery as you make your way to Asheville, NC.  We’ll stop for lunch at Tamarack in West Virginia, where you can choose from a variety of soups and sandwiches for lunch (included), and then tour the art galleries and grounds. In Asheville, we’ll stay at the Baymont by Wyndham at Asheville/ Biltmore Villages. Spend the evening on your own in Biltmore Villages, where you will find shops and numerous restaurant options.

Day 2-Thursday, April 3, 2025 

Upon arising, take advantage of the hot breakfast (included). The bus will leave at 9:00 AM to take you to the Biltmore Estate. Start with a tour of the beautiful gardens and conservatory, then enter the Biltmore House where you will receive an audio guide to tour the grand mansion at your own pace. We then board the bus to head to the Antler Hill Village area on the estates, where you can have lunch on your own at one of several restaurants or the barbecue food truck. Next, head over to the winery for a free self-guided tour and tasting. The bus will take us back to the hotel for a brief break from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. After that we head to downtown Asheville where we’ll enjoy dinner at Pack’s Tavern (included). Dinner includes a salad, a choice of salmon or chicken marsala, vegetables, and a dessert. We’ll take an after-dinner stroll downtown to visit art galleries, ice cream or chocolate shops and other fun sights before we head back to the hotel and tuck ourselves in for the night.

Day 3-Friday, April 4, 2025 

Enjoy a hearty breakfast (included) and then board the bus for a 9:00 am departure. Around 12:30 p.m. we will stop at Daniel Vineyards in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, for a lunch of turkey or ham sandwiches, followed by a wine tasting and vineyard tour (included). After lunch, you can relax on the return journey to Medina before the infamous ORMACO wine and cheese party. Enjoy flowing wine, cheese, homemade cookies and chocolates.  We will arrive at Buehler’s River Styx around 8:00 p.m.
