Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) presents dinner with a cabaret concert on Thursday, April 15, 2027 at 6:00 pm at Olesia’s Taverne of Richfield, 3960 Broadview Rd., Richfield, Ohio 44286.

Join us in the exquisitely restored Grand Ballroom at Olesia’s Taverne in the historic village of Richfield for an evening of cabaret featuring vocalist Barbara Rosene and pianist Rock Wehrmann. Enjoy a delectable buffet dinner in a relaxed but classy atmosphere where old world meets modern. No need to travel to New York when you have great cabaret in your own backyard!

About the Musicians 

Ohio born and New York based, Barbara Rosene has built an unequalled reputation for interpreting classic compositions, from all eras of Jazz, performing the music with not only a full understanding and love of the original time period but with the rare ability to make the material sound fresh and emotionally relevant today. Barbara has toured with The Harry James Orchestra for the past 15 years, and has performed with The Glenn Miller and Artie Shaw Orchestras, as well as directing her own New Yorkers, playing such venues as: Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall, Birdland, The Iridium, Dizzy’s, Mezzrow, Smalls, Blues Alley, and The Montreal Jazz Festival. Featured on NPR programs “Jazz Inspired”, with Judy Carmichael, and “Hot Jazz Saturday Night.” with Rob Bamberger, she is the recipient of a Backstage -Bistro Award, and is included in Scott Yanow’s book, “Great Jazz Singers.” Barbara’s studio albums include “Deep Night”, with Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks, “On The Brink”, with Wyclife Gordon, Howard Alden and Randy Sandke, and a Grammy nominated collection of -1920s/30s tunes – “Nice and Naughty” with her own New Yorkers.

Rock Wehrmann, pianist/accompanist/composer, is an accomplished musician known throughout NE Ohio for his extraordinary repertoire, who crosses musical genres with ease. He is the first-call keyboardist for Northeast Ohio organizations such as Playhouse Square, Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and Cleveland Pops, as well as Broadway touring productions. He taught at Oberlin College, the University of Akron, and at Cleveland State University, and is a Professor Emeritus from Kent State University.
