Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library continue their Sunday Live at the Library concerts with The Baker’s Basement in a program entitled “The Anatomy of a Concert- Performance, Laughter and Space”. Adam Grindler and Kate Dedinsky reflect on their ten years of performance, recording and producing throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond. The duo will discuss emotional, sonic and spatial anatomy of a performance at a given time and place. Through demonstration and story, the Baker’s Basement offers a performer’s insight into building a show for its place in time. Enjoy a program about the program- a discussion about the show’s inner workings as it is delivered.

The concert takes place at 2 pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281

The program is free, but reservations are recommended by registering online or calling 419-853-6016.

About Baker’s Basement

The Baker’s Basement is a two-piece band from Cleveland, Ohio that creates music rooted in space, dynamics, humor, and the unpredictable nature of life as a human. Members Kate Dedinsky and Adam Grindler are obsessive songwriters, composing more with a specific emotion, story, or image in mind rather than a particular genre.

They record music that includes a range of instruments: two voices, drums, tempeh pocket kit, paint bucket, shot glasses, acoustic guitar, banjo, train whistle, synth, keyboard, guillele, electric guitar, kazoo, beats, harmonica, loops, drum pad and sound effects. The instrumentation and style are simply vessels to portray the certain feeling needed for the composition at hand. Learn more at https://www.thebakersbasement.com/.
