3 3-Day Trip to Cincinnati

Join ORMACO (Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach) for a fun, three-day action-packed excursion. Hop on the bus at Buehler’s River Styx at 11:30 am. You’ll enjoy a boxed lunch, then sit back and relax as the luxury charter bus whisks us to Cincinnati. We’ll check into the Holiday Inn Express Riverside before we head to dinner at Hofbrau House. Then we’ll go to the Cincinnati Music Hall, a National Historic Landmark built in 1878 that was beautifully restored in a major renovation in 2017, where we’ll hear a concert with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra playing the music of Billy Joel.
Day Two starts with breakfast at the hotel before taking the bus uptown to the American Sign Museum. A docent will lead us through the huge display of nearly 100 years of signagepaying homage to the artistry and craftsmanship of days gone by. This collection explores an often overlooked part of our culture that hides in plain sight as part of our daily lives.After that we head to the historic and vibrant Findlay Market, where you can explore the eclectic shops and find lunch on your own. Then we’ll go to the nearby National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, a museum that recognizes the significant role of Cincinnati in the history of the Underground Railroad. A return to the hotel gives us a brief refresh before we leave for dinner on a riverboat cruise with BB Riverboats.
Sunday morning we’ll have a leisurely breakfast before going to the Taft Museum to enjoy a docent led tour of their impressive art collection in a unique historical setting. We’ll stop for lunch north of Cincinnati at Stone Creek Dining, and then get back on the bus for a wine and cheese party as we cruise back to Buehler’s, arriving around 5:45 pm.
