2-Day Bus Trip to the 1000 Islands with Wine Tastings, Lunches and Dinner Cruise

Join ORMACO (Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach) for a fun, two-day action-packed excursion to New York State’s 1000 Islands. Hop on the bus at Buehler’s River Styx and start your day with muffins and mimosas as the luxury charter bus whisks us to New York State.
The first stop is Liberty Vineyards and Winery where we will experience a wine tasting and then enjoy lunch in a covered pavilion nestled among the vineyards. After lunch, we continue to Alexandria Bay where you will have time to explore before boarding Uncle Sam’s triple-deck boat for a 2 ½ hour dinner cruise. As you cruise through some of the most spectacular channels in the Thousand Islands, enjoy a scrumptious freshly prepared Italian meal by the chefs at nearby Riley’s Restaurant. After dinner, return to the top deck as the sun sets. Following the memorable boat cruise, we head to Candlewood Suites in Evan Mills, NY. Relax for the rest of the evening.
Start Day Two at a leisurely pace. The hotel will provide a bag breakfast. At 10:00 am, we depart for the farm-based Clayton Distillery, where we will sample moonshine, whiskey, liqueur, vodka and gin. Next, we head to Coyote Moon Vineyards, where you will have a howling good time. The largest vineyard in Jefferson County, you will not only sample the wines but enjoy a delicious lunch. We then make our way back to Ohio. Enjoy a wine and cheese party, homemade cookies and chocolates on the return journey. Arrive at Buehler’s River Styx at 8:00 pm.
