ORMACO Cultural Trip to Italy (11 nights) $3,300 land package (without airfare)

Price based on double occupancy includes:
- Lodging
- Breakfast and second meal (usually dinner)

Single supplement is $900.
Join Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) as we fly overseas to Italy to soak in the history and culture. The busy itinerary includes:
- 5 nights in Sorrento, with day trips to Monte Faito, Pompei, Amalfi and Ravello. Included is a lemon grove tour, a cooking class, a concert, hikes and beautiful ocean views.
- 2 nights in Rome in a 4 star hotel situated 10 minutes from the Colosseum, where we’ll take a leisurely night time e-bike ride through the streets of Rome, and then enjoy a day of leisure on your own.
- 4 nights in the Umbrian hill town of Spello, where we will enjoy the beautiful tradition of the Infiorate of Spello and take day trips to Assisi, Montefalco and Collepino. We’ll be in the middle of the buzz for Spello’s annual flower festival, when this ancient Umbrian town pays homage to Corpus Christi by creating beautiful tapestries entirely out of flowers that decorate the procession route.
This trip will include walking tours. Participants should be comfortable walking between two to six miles in a day at a leisurely, strolling pace. The Amalfi Coast and Umbrian hill towns are built into mountains and require walking up and down multiple staircases.
Fly into Naples, and out of Rome. The cost of airfare is between $1,000 –$1,500. Travelers will book their own flights. (Once we have our travelers in place, we could investigate group flights.)
