Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) opens its 2023/24 World Tour of Music concerts with Pacific Paradise Entertainment on October 14, 2023, at the Western Reserve Masonic Community, 4931 Nettleton Road, Medina, OH 44256 at 7:30 pm. Travel along on a voyage to the Polynesian Islands as this high-energy ensemble showcases island traditions through flowing expressive dance, as well as the fast hip movements to Tahitian dance. Dancing their way through Hawaii, New Zealand, Samoa and Tahiti, they tell both ancient and modern stories, honor the elders and many other special cultural traditions.
Tickets are available online here or at Medina and Wadsworth Buehler’s stores beginning September 1, 2023. $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
About the Performers
Artistic Director Audrey Godoy created Pacific Paradise Entertainment in 2019 for the love of the culture and expression through dance. Her mission is to perpetuate Polynesian culture in Cleveland and surrounding communities.
Founding member Patria Gerardo created Pacific Paradise Entertainment for the love of dance and camaraderie.
Hailing from the island of Lanai’I in Hawaii, Darren Lopez (musician, Emcee, vocalist) has years of entertainment experience. He has been involved with Pacific Paradise Entertainment since 2021.
A dancer for Pacific Paradise Entertainment since 2019, Jeanie Seagraves has been immersed in Tahitian dancing for years. She involves herself in online classes and competitions.
A musician and opera singer, Naomi Columna (musician, vocalist, chanter) has been involved with Pacific Paradise Entertainment since 2021. She teaches Pacific culture in various Cleveland area schools.
Dancer Shannon Metelko is involved in the entertainment business and enjoys Polynesian culture and dance with Pacific Paradise Entertainment.
