Scott Marshall: A Little Bit of Country

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach continues its streaming concerts with New Franklin-based Americana singer-songwriter, Scott Marshall on April 10, 2022 at 2 pm. In today’s program, Scott will incorporate elements of folk, country, bluegrass and rock music. He will showcase both original songs that he has written over the last 30 years and select cover tunes from famous songwriters who have influenced him. Scott will also demonstrate some of the different styles of music that comprise authentic Americana musical amalgam using a variety of instruments. He will also elaborate on how he wrote/co-wrote his songs and will detail some of his experiences as an affiliate of several local, national and international songwriting organizations over the years.

About Scott Marshall

Scott Marshall is an award-winning singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from New Franklin, Ohio. He has performed his original music everywhere from The Bluebird Café. In Nashville to the Cleveland Improv. He has had a number of songs recorded by independent artists including American Idol contestant Isaac Cole. His song, “Read Your Bible”, won the 2019 award for Inspirational Song of the Year by Nashville based group, Tennessee Songwriters Association International.
