Music at the Arboretum: Laura Varcho, Vocalist – Tunes from the American Songbook

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) begins a new collaboration with the Friends of the Secrest Arboretum with exciting free outdoor concerts. A Northeast Ohio favorite, Cleveland-based vocalist Laura Varcho and her band will open the 2021 summer series with tunes from the American Songbook. Tap your toes and step back in time as you enjoy classic songs from the likes of Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Lerner & Lowe and more.

Specializing in brilliant interpretations of select jazz and popular standards, Miss Varcho is a featured artist at the top jazz clubs and has opened for national artists including Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Kim Waters, Kenny Ranking and Boney James. She has headlined concerts at Night Town and Cain Park and performed as a featured vocalist at area jazz festivals. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at Fisher Auditorium, 1680 Madison Avenue, Wooster, OH 44691
