Elizabeth Glorioso

Elizabeth Glorioso is an American cellist based in Cleveland, Ohio. In May 2017 she graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a Master’s Degree in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy in the studio of Sharon Robinson. During her time at CIM, Ms. Glorioso participated in the Advanced Piano Trio Program with her ensemble, Trio Zeta, allowing her to take Masterclasses with some of the greatest musicians of our day, including violinist Jaime Laredo and pianist Daniel Shapiro. Ms. Glorioso has also had the pleasure of touring Italy and Slovenia with Trio Glorioso, a piano trio founded in Duino, Italy.
As a fully-registered Suzuki cello teacher, Ms. Glorioso is passionate about teaching children how to be good global citizens and pursue excellence in all areas of life. She has developed a flourishing studio in Shaker Heights teaching students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels and is excited to contribute to the growth of the neighborhood. Ms. Glorioso feels strongly about the role of outreach and the responsibility of the classical musician to actively participate in their community. For this reason, she has performed in the greater Cleveland area in nursing homes, libraries, and schools. Through all of her teaching and performance experiences, she has been privileged to witness the uniting and healing power of the arts.
